VCI Bag or Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor bag, is a High Quality Plastic Bag used for packing and protection of metal products from rust during storage and transportation for a longer duration before actual use. These are used for products that do not have any protective coating viz plating/ paiting on their surfaces and bound to form rust on the outer surface once they get in contact with Oxygen, Water or any other contaminants. VCI molecules protect metals from corrosion by forming a thin, invisible layer on the surface. This layer inhibits the corrosion process caused by oxygen, water and contaminants.
